Brookings Arts Council

Formally the Carnegie Library and added to the list of National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the Brookings Arts Council (BAC) makes art happen by raising awareness and getting the community involved. Art exhibits challenge our younger students to put their best brush stroke forward and compete for prizes, while the Annual Juried Art and Photography exhibit brings in artists from around the region. Whether you’re an avid art collector or just enjoy finger painting, you’ll appreciate the creative capabilities the BAC has to offer.

Please Note | The Brookings Arts Council is temporarily closed, building and renovating artistic dreams. It is set to re-open in fall of 2017. If participating in the Brookings Great 8, feel free to swing by the Children's Museum for a stamp.
