Kate Solberg

Kate joined Visit Brookings in July of 2023 after working with Experience Sioux Falls as a Sales Manager for little over a year. She is excited to bring her experience to promote and share why visitors should include Brookings in their travel plans.

Kate began her career in the tourism industry with a marketing internship at the Vermillion Area Chamber & Development Company while earning her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management at the University of South Dakota. Upon graduation she accepted a Sales Manager role at Experience Sioux Falls. Within her role, she prospected and bid on conventions and meetings, attended trade shows to gather awareness, and shared Sioux Falls as a destination to meeting planners across the region. Kate is excited to bring her experience in sales and love of travel with her as she shares the story of Brookings with new and returning visitors.
