DESCRIPTION:The summer season of the Brookings Farmers Market is every Saturday from the first week of May through the last week of October. Join us on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the 300 block of 6th Ave\, the street between the Brookings Library and County Courthouse. We are just southeast of the Children’s Museum of South Dakota.  \nProducts available at the market vary on the season. Area producers sell a variety of fruits\, vegetables\, herbs\, meats\, jams\, honey\, bread\, coffee\, soap\, eggs\, teas\, mixes\, and more. Each week offers something new and delicious. Support your local producer by shopping often!  \n​The market will occasionally close early due to weather or vendors selling out of products. DESCRIPTION:Kart Racing at it’s finest! We are a family owned and run\, 1/5 high bank dirt/clay oval track on the North edge of Brookings near the Community Gardens.\nMowers\, wing karts\, flat karts & stingers. On average we will have 13-16 different classes race! Our racers will range from age 5 up to 70+.\nWe have wonderful\, fresh concessions for purchase on site.\nTimes:\nRegistration Gates Open: 10:00am\nSpectator Gates Open: 12:00pm\nHot Laps: 2:00pm (Subject to change)\nRaces start: 3:00pm (Subject to change)\nCost:\nUNDER 12 years old is Free\n12+ is $5.00 each\nSpectator Pit Passes will vary based on the event.\nFollow our Facebook page for updates & added events on race days!\nWe do have some volunteer opportunities available each week.
