Earth Day Celebration





Join the Earth Day celebration at Larson Nature Center as Deputy Mayor Keith Corbett makes the Mayor Monarch Pledge. Earth Day has been celebrated since 1970 and Brookings continues to celebrate the tradition in order to grow as a sustainabe community. Guests and outdoor enthusiasts will have the opportunity to learn more about sustainable resource from the numerous booths at the celebration. The celebration is a collaboration between the Brookings Sustainability Council, Dakota Rural Action, Brookings Parks Department, and the SDSU Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability Committee. This event is free and open to the public.
