SUMMARY:Yuletide Concert
DESCRIPTION:Participating choral ensembles include the Concert Choir and Choralia (Women’s Choir) conducted by Dr. Laura Diddle and the Statesmen conducted by Dr. Andrew Robinette. Each group performs individually and as part of a mass ensemble the SDSU Choral Artists. The Choral Artist selections are accompanied by a large ensemble of faculty and community instrumentalists. The Choral Yuletide is a festive celebration with choirs singing from the stage\, balcony\, aisles and all together on the stage. The festival features more than 250 student musicians who are members of three choirs.

DESCRIPTION:The museum is pleased to welcome Suzanne Hovik Fuller\, author of “The Girl Who Moved to the Town That Wasn’t There”\, for a full day of educational programs at the museum. Suzanne’s book is written about the founding of the village of Egan in the Dakota Territory and is written for an upper elementary and middle school grade level. The book has won two awards including the 2021 WILLA Literary Award for Children’s Fiction and Nonfiction and a silver award for Children’s Fiction from the Midwest Independent Publishers Association. \nWhile her book is written for elementary and middle school students\, this program is geared for adults and will discuss her research and writing process followed by a book signing. This event is FREE and open to the public\, but you will be required to bring your own lunch! Water and coffee will be provided. \nMake sure to check out our other event with Suzanne\, a Special Edition Make & Take Monday\, going on later in the day from 3-5 PM.
