Red is the official color of NTTW. \nJoin the Visit Brookings office\, the Children’s Museum of South Dakota and other attractions in shining the light on tourism. \nTourism is economic development\, creating jobs\, generating sales and providing tax dollars for the residents of our community and state. SUMMARY:Glacial Lakes & Prairies Literature Drop
DESCRIPTION:South Dakota has five Interstate Welcome Centers which carry information about things to see and do around the state. The centers are manned by travel counselors between May and September offering suggestions to enhance their visit to our state. \nTourism businesses in northeastern South Dakota are invited to drop off their brochures and other literature which will be shipped from Brookings to the five Welcome Centers. The Glacial Lakes & Prairies Literature Drop will be held from noon – 1:30 pm at the Swiftel Center. This will be a drive and drop event where vehicles drive around the north side of the Swiftel Center (between the Swiftel Center and Larson Ice Center) unload their literature near the large garage door and then exit to 34th Avenue. \nThere is no cost to participate\, however\, all brochures must be registered with the South Dakota Department of Tourism by Friday\, April 22nd. Click this link to learn more about the requirements and registration process. Participants will be notified of the quantity needed for each Welcome Center. \nLiterature should be bundled together and identified with the confirmation number issues at the time of registration. \nThe Lit Drop will immediately follow the Hospitality Training held at the Swiftel Center from 10:00 am – noon and is part of National Travel & Tourism Week activities. \n\n			\n				\n			\n				\n				Visit Brookings Logo
