SUMMARY:Glacial Lakes & Prairies Literature Drop
DESCRIPTION:South Dakota has five Interstate Welcome Centers which carry information about things to see and do around the state. The centers are manned by travel counselors between May and September offering suggestions to enhance their visit to our state. \nTourism businesses in northeastern South Dakota are invited to drop off their brochures and other literature which will be shipped from Brookings to the five Welcome Centers. The Glacial Lakes & Prairies Literature Drop will be held from noon – 1:30 pm at the Swiftel Center. This will be a drive and drop event where vehicles drive around the north side of the Swiftel Center (between the Swiftel Center and Larson Ice Center) unload their literature near the large garage door and then exit to 34th Avenue. \nThere is no cost to participate\, however\, all brochures must be registered with the South Dakota Department of Tourism by Friday\, April 22nd. Click this link to learn more about the requirements and registration process.
