DESCRIPTION:Prairie Repertory Theatre’s last show! Footloose is the story of Ren McCormack\, a teenage boy from Chicago. He and his mother move to the small town of Bomont after his father abandons them. Upon arriving\, Ren finds himself at odds with most of the town\, including the Reverend Bomont. The Reverend has convinced the town to outlaw dancing\, which Ren finds unbelievable. With the help of the Ariel (the Reverend’s daughter) and Willard (a country hick who becomes his best friend)\, Ren convinces the Reverend to let the teenagers dance\, and in the process helps the town to heal from a tragedy that affected them all

Our food is served picnic-style and we have plenty of space to spread out and make the evening special\, safely. We encourage you to bring your own yard games\, lawn chairs\, blankets\, and plates to enjoy our farm\, food and animals. Friendly\, non-barking dogs on leashes are welcome. \nQ & A- \n\n\nWhat can I expect? Specialty\, hand-crafted\, wood-fired pizzas and a beautiful evening on the farm with space to enjoy your friends and family. You can spend the entire evening on the farm and when your pizzas are ready\, we will display your order number by the Pizza Ovens. \n\n\nDo I need to bring drinks? No\, we’ve got you covered! We sell select beers\, wine\, and signature lemonades. Bring your own water or we will have some bottled you can purchase. \n\n\nWhat should we bring? Our pizza is served picnic-style and delivered to you hot from our wood-fired oven in a pizza box. Please bring your own utensils\, napkins\, lawn chair\, and yard games\, if you like. \n\n\nPlease watch your children; we are unable to do so. Even though it is tempting to go barefoot\, a barnyard has many things that could cause a painful step\, so best to keep shoes on.

Camp 2\, “Farm-to-Table Journey\,” will focus on: \n\nPlanting\, stewardship\, and harvesting plants for food and other uses.\nForaging\, preserving\, and eating seasonally.\nTending animals and talking about food and other uses.\nCooking and eating the bounty of the farm.\n\nCamps are supervised by vetted\, experienced educators and/or background-checked school volunteers\, and Good Roots Farm staff. Visiting enrichment providors are public field experts or educators. \nFacilitated experiences will comprise roughly 1.5 hours of the day while much of the day will involve child-directed activity\, hands-on exploration\, and collaborative play. \nAll camps will explore nature and farm life! \nCost is $90 for the first child per camp\, and $80 per additional child/per camp.
