We encourage you to bring your own yard games\, lawn chairs\, blankets\, and plates to enjoy our farm\, food and animals. Friendly\, non-barking dogs on leashes are welcome. \nQ & A- \n\n\nWhat can I expect? Specialty\, hand-crafted\, wood-fired pizzas and a beautiful evening on the farm with space to enjoy your friends and family. You can spend the entire evening on the farm and when your pizzas are ready\, we will display your order number by the Pizza Ovens. \n\n\nDo I need to bring drinks? No\, we’ve got you covered! We sell select beers\, wine\, and signature lemonades. Bring your own water or we will have some bottled you can purchase. \n\n\nWhat should we bring? DESCRIPTION:Do you know a 5-11 year old looking for an adventure this summer? Have them join the Prairie Learning Academy and Good Roots Farm and Gardens for a nature-based mini-camp this summer! Camp 4\, “’F’ is for Food\, Farming\, & Fun\,” will focus on: \n\nExploring native and global food systems.\n\nFood for health and fun!\n\n\nGrains and baking. + We eat with our eyes!\n\nHarvesting ingredients and making pizza. Cooking and fire safety.\n\nCamps will be supervised by vetted\, experienced educators and/or background-checked school volunteers\, and Good Roots Farm staff. Visiting enrichment providers are experienced field experts working with the public and/or ecucators. \nFacilitated experiences will comprise roughly 1.5 hours of the day while much of the day will involve child-directed activity\, hands-on exploration\, and collaborative play. \nAll camps will explore nature and farm life! \nCost is $90 for the first child per camp\, and $80 per additional child/per camp.
