DESCRIPTION:Young runners ages 4 to 11 have a chance to explore training at kid-sized distances at a free event sponsored by Prairie Striders Running Club\, Brookings Park and Recreation and Oakwood Lakes Trail Run. \nThe new event\, directed by Andy Carlson\, director of Oakwood Lakes Trail Run\, is 6 p.m. Wednesday\, Aug. 9\, at Dakota Nature Park. Runners will use the single track mountain bike course.
