The Prairie Repertory Theatre continues with Beehive: The 60's Musical at the new Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center. The second show of the season runs June 13-15 in the Proscenium Theatre, beginning at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday at 2 p.m. This performance may not be appropriate for children.
Beehive is the ultimate celebration of 1960’s female empowerment. Featuring such timeless classics as “My Boyfriend’s Back”, “Be My Baby”, “Son of a Preacher Man”, and “Me and Bobby McGee”, Beehive nostalgically recalls the days of miniskirts, transistor radios and flower power.
