Brookings Splash and Dash

THE DASH:
Make plans to attend the 9th Annual Polar 5K Run/Walk. The timed event is open to both runners and walkers and is a great family event. Families are encouraged to participate. Come help us celebrate Special Olympics South Dakota and support our 2,750+ athletes across the state. Participants will receive a participation medal, and those who do the Splash and Dash will receive a custom-made Polar Plunge shirt (adult sizes). Awards will be given to the top 3 finishing men and women of the race. More information on the location of the race will be available at a later date.

Runner in Hibernation: If you cannot participate on race day but would like to support Special Olympics South Dakota, receive a participation medal, and register as a Runner in Hibernation. You do not receive a race number, but you will receive a medal following the event (if you are in Brookings, you may pick your medal up).
