Groundhog Day Poker Run

Join us for our unique take on a poker run. Oakwood Lakes State Park will be holding the 45th annual Groundhog Day Poker Run on Sunday, February 1, 2026. Registration begins at 12:30pm at the maintenance shop with the poker run starting at 1:00pm. We will have one poker run for cross-country skiers and a poker run for snowshoers. There will also be a Barnalopet course set up. Food and drinks will be provided by park staff and the Sons of Norway. Prizes for winning poker hand, youngest participant, oldest participant, Barnalopet winner, plus additional door prizes will be drawn.
