Native American Day: Museum is Open

School is out, and we are open for a special day of play! Join us as we celebrate Native American Day.
Learn how to hoop dance near the Dakota Tipi and explore all of our Museum exhibits from 10 am to 5 pm!
Join us for a Buffalo Box Demonstration at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.
Learn more about how the Oceti Sakowin (translated as the Seven Counsel Fires), the Dakota tribal family that lived in the Northeastern and Eastern part of South Dakota and Western Minnesota, used buffalo in many ways as they lived on the plains.
If the kids have the day off from school and you still have to work, register them for our all-day STEAM Camp.
