Artist Lecture: Signe Stuart, Events in Time and Space

Join us for an awesome in-person event with Signe Stuart as she takes us on a journey through her six-decade career as an artist.
The reception for the exhibition begins at 5:00pm, followed by a lecture from the artist at 6:00pm. The reception will have light refreshments and appetizers.
Signe Stuart: Events in Time and Space is a six-decade retrospective of Signe Stuart’s works beginning in the early 1960’s. Her approach to art making relies on experimentation with painting materials and forms, often breaking from the standard rectangle and concepts of framing. Stuart taught at South Dakota State University and has lived and worked in diverse regions of the United States: East Coast, Pacific Northwest, Northern Plains, and Southwest: residing now in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
