Firearm Basics Class

Interested in learning about firearms and shooting but not sure where to start? Join us for our FREE Firearm Basics class!

This is an introductory course on firearms and their use.

In this class, you will learn:

-Different types of firearms and their use.

-Different ammunition and which firearms they go with.

-How to be a responsible firearm owner.

-How to safely operate and store a firearm.

-How to safely shoot a .22 rifle (optional).

Ages 12 and up are welcome. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

All participants must fill out our Release of Liability Waiver. (participants under 18 must have one completed by an adult)

NO OUTSIDE FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION ALLOWED. All participants will use BCOAC equipment if they choose to shoot.

This class is NOT a substitute for the State’s HuntSAFE course and participants will not recieve any official certification upon its completion.
