The Brookings Historic Preservation Commission will host a booth and two presentations at the Brookings Regional Builders Association Home Show.
The first presentation, “Investing in Old-Experiences with Restoration of Historic Homes” will be given at 10:00 am by Chuck Bennis, of Bennis Art Studios. Chuck will share his journey of restoring houses while preserving their historic charm. Learn how his creativity and budget-friendly design choices led to the award-winning restoration of an 1894 home, which earned the Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Historical Restoration.
