Welcome New York Times bestselling author Marc Cameron at a free, open-to-the-public event at the South Dakoto Art Museum (1036 Medary Ave., Brookings, SD) as he discusses his new book, “Bad River.” Known for penning the Tom Clancy “Jack Ryan” thrillers as well as taut thrillers set in the wilds of the Alaskan bush, former US Marshal Cameron’s latest book culminates with vivid sequences set in The Badlands. Cameron will present his latest book followed by a Q&A and book signing.

About Marc Cameron
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Marc Cameron, has spent over three decades in law enforcement. He is the award-winning author of the “Arliss Cutter” and the “Jericho Quinn” series, as well as the Tom Clancy “Jack Ryan, Sr.” books, starting with “Power and Empire” in 2017. Before launching his writing career, he served as a uniformed police officer, mounted officer, and detective before accepting a position with the United States Marshals Service, serving as a Deputy, Fugitive Task Force Commander, Supervisory Deputy, Senior Inspector, and finally Chief. His assignments took him from rural Alaska to Manhattan, from Canada to Mexico. A Texas native, Cameron lives and writes from his longtime home outside Anchorage, Alaska.
