Miranda Koltze will give her presentation, “Baring Root: On the Path to Purpose, Passion and Identity Through Our Herbal Relatives”. In this presentation, Koltze, owner of Sweetgrass Soapery and All Walks Trading Company in Sioux Falls, will demonstrate the art of herbal remedy making, including a soapmaking demonstration.

As a budding small business owner, Koltze will share her continued learning process, knowledge, and love of sustainable living while making mindful connections and building community through the natural world.

In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Brookings Public Library is hosting events and speakers from across the Midwest to discuss Native history, culture, and issues.
