Meet in front of the Brookings Post Office (500 Main Ave) and move south through downtown to view the newly installed poetry walk, learn more about South Dakota’s seven Poets Laureate, and hear some of their work.
Led by Christine Stewart-Nunez, South Dakota Poet Laureate 2019-2021, and members of the South Dakota State Poetry Society.

The state’s premier literary event, the Festival celebrates literature in South Dakota and beyond by connecting the very best regional and national writers with our state’s readers for conversations, presentations, panel discussions, book signings, and special events.
Through workshops and craft talks offered by established authors and publishing professionals, it provides unique support for aspiring writers to craft and share their stories.
