From underground, water, trees, in the sky, but most commonly found on land, the diverse class of mammals surround us as we walk the trails of the nature park. Campers will take a look at what classifies a mammal, diversity, habitat, adaptations, and differentiate their tracks. Ages 5-7 | 9-10 Ages 8-10 | 10:45-11:45
Join our staff as we learn about the birds of Brookings from songbirds to raptors. Campers will learn to identify, search for nests and the different kinds, feathers and molting, and do their own point and count survey. Ages 8-10 | 1:15 - 2:15 pm
