Native American Heritage Month Speaker Series- Jerome Kills Small
- This event has passed.
In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Library is hosting speakers from across the state and country to discuss Native history, culture, and issues. This event will be in-person in the Library’s Cooper Room and streamed on Zoom.
This week’s talk will be “Water: Lakota Spirituality and Science” by Jerome Kills Small.
Throughout his life, Kills Small has gained personal experience being around Lakota sacred sites and becoming familiar with many place names for water. He brings this experience to a discussion of the source and spiritual aspects of water and how what the spirit says and what science says complement each other.
