What Makes Your Soul Breathe?

What Makes Your Soul Breathe? is a free, interactive arts event taking place on May 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sylvan Green on the South Dakota State University campus. Participants are asked to gather on the front steps of the South Dakota Art Museum at 1:00 PM to begin a multidisciplinary experience featuring live dance, music, and painting. This all-ages “happening” invites the public to move beyond being spectators by joining in hands-on art creation and collaborative projects. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary to participate in this vibrant celebration of creativity.
