A lens into Chinatown and Asian American Communities: Documentary Screening with Producer Curtis Chin

Join acclaimed author and producer Curtis Chin for a screening of his newly released documentary “Dear Corky”, featuring New Yorker photojournalist Corky Lee, who documented his hometown’s Chinatown and Asian American communities around the country for over 50 years. Plus a bonus screening of segments of “Vincent Who”, learning who Vincent is and his monumental significance in both the Asian American experience and the civil rights history of America. Event is free and scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, from 12-1:00 p.m. in the Pheasant and Crest rooms of SDSU Student Union (SSU 253).
