Dedication of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way

The Brookings City Council is proud to dedicate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way in honor of Dr. King’s enduring legacy and contributions to civil rights.
A brief dedication ceremony will take place at Pioneer Park on Tuesday, February 25, at 5:15 PM. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Tuesday, March 11.
We invite the community to join us in celebrating Dr. King’s impact and the values of equality, justice, and unity that he championed.
