Brookings’ Sexauer Park and Campground

Sexauer Park and Campground is the only park in Brookings where camping is available. Enjoy the outdoors, while staying close to area attractions and amenities. The campground is located on the western edge of town, just off Highway 14. Six Mile Creek runs through the campground providing all the comforting sights and sounds when camping in nature.

The campground contains 18 paved pads for trailers, RVs, and campers; specifically, five campsites are designated for pull-through campers. Additionally, a large grass area site is available for tents. Check out what amenities are provided during your stay.

RESERVATIONS

To reserve a campsite, contact the Brookings Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department at 605.692.2708. Confirmed reservations can be made in advance with full payment. The maximum length of stay allowed is two weeks. Advance reservations will be posted on the pad site. Specific pad sites may be requested, but not guaranteed.
