A state in transition, rural South Dakota since the 1970s with Dr. Chuck Vollan
- This event has passed.
South Dakota has undergone more rapid change in the last forty or fifty years than it did in all of its history. In that time, South Dakota became a primarily urban state, but rural South Dakota has continued to change, develop, and diversify socially and economically. Join us as we welcome Dr. Chuck Vollan, professor of History at SDSU and state scholar for “Crossroads: Change in Rural America”, to discuss these changes. This event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be provided.
