Get your holiday shopping done early and shop local at these unique mission-driven gift shops. From art to jewelry, to toys and books, your purchase directly supports the mission of each organization.
From Thursday, Nov. 18, to Saturday, Nov. 20, stop in 4 of the 5 museum and cultural organization gift shops and be entered to win a great prize: One lucky shopper will win a $20 gift certificate from each organization!
Participating Gift Shops:
•Brookings Arts Council: Stop by our pop-up holiday store, The Holly Leaf, featuring local artisan items such as paintings, prints, jewelry, pottery, hand-crafted stuffed animals, and more.
•McCrory Gardens: Unique items such as garden flags, rabbit garden sculptures, local honey, and McCrory maple syrup.
•Play Central Toys & Books (located at Children’s Museum of South Dakota): Hand-selected books, games, plush, puzzles, t-shirts, STEM-related toys, and unique children’s toys.
•South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum: European glass Christmas ornaments, locally-sourced goods, South Dakota made items, and more. Capturing the Spirit of South Dakota in every gift!
•South Dakota Art Museum: Unique gifts from South Dakota and beyond. It’s the Art Museum’s Annual Holiday Sale! Original paintings, pottery, art glass, home décor, and more.
