Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization committed to creating a difference in the Brookings community. While the organization provides homes to those in need, the ReStore helps fill them. Support the ReStore by donating, volunteering or discovering one-of-a-kind pieces while shopping.
At the ReStore, buy and donate furniture, decor, paint, washers, dryers, other appliances and additional household items. The ReStore website, BrookingsHabitat.org/Restore, has a variety of information on products to donate, shopping hours, volunteer applications and scheduling pickups for large items.
Each employee is passionate about what they do. “The ultimate good that we are doing for people is why I enjoy my job, and the most rewarding part for me,” said Aaron Carsrud, ReStore manager.
Come out and visit the Restore to see how they give back-everyone is welcome.
The ReStore is located at 917 US-14 Bypass. Shopping hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
