Brookings offers a variety of late-night dining options to satisfy an array of salty and sweet cravings. In Downtown Brookings there are two popular locations: George’s Pizza and Taqueria Los Amigos, and Insomnia Cookies right off 6th Street.
George’s Pizza is a local favorite for late-night dining. It’s been serving up delicious pizza, calzones, and authentic Greek dishes since 1971. The building’s historic brick exterior and warm ambiance create a cozy dining experience. Order delicious by-the-slice pizza from the iconic grab-and-go window from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Whether dining or getting delivery, George’s hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. On Fridays and Saturdays, it opens at 11 a.m.
Taqueria Los Amigos is a late-night restaurant created in a special collaboration between Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant and Flavor Indian & Asian Fare. Open Friday and Saturday only, Los Amigos offers tacos, burritos and quesadillas, with optional sides of rice and beans. The traditional Mexican decor and modern space make it a perfect place to grab a quick bite inside or order to go from 10:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
For those with more of a sweet tooth, Insomnia Cookies, located at 1833 6th St. in Village Square Mall, is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily, except Sunday through Wednesday, when it closes at 3 a.m. Insomnia features over 15 cookie varieties like chocolate chunk and peanut butter cup along with other menu offerings including brownies, ice cream, cookie cakes, and seasonal cookies. Insomnia also offers delivery for fresh warm cookies brought straight to the customer.
No matter the craving, these Brookings bites have everyone covered late into the night.
