South Dakota Art Museum

Nestled on the campus of South Dakota State University, the South Dakota Art Museum is home to seven spacious galleries and an extensive collection of more than 7,000 pieces of art. Four of the galleries showcase rotating pieces from the museum’s permanent collection, featuring works like Harvey Dunn’s iconic paintings, Paul Goble’s stunning illustrations and the intricate designs of Marghab Linens. The remaining galleries spotlight art from a diverse mix of regional, national and international artists.

Don’t miss the museum’s unique store, where you’ll find everything from handmade jewelry and colorful pottery to beads from around the world.
