Emerald Grace Clothing Company is a women’s boutique in historic Downtown Brookings. Founded by Erica Grinde in 2020, the store aims to provide a shopping experience for women of all ages and sizes.
Emerald Grace Features a curated selection of stylish tops, bottoms and dresses in sizes small through 3X. Included in these offerings is game day apparel for SDSU Jackrabbit fans. Clothing is thoughtfully organized on wooden and velvet hangers by size. This attention to detail allows shoppers to quickly find their perfect fit.
In addition, a variety of jewelry, books, candles and more, can be found within the walls of the store.
“We try to have something for everybody,” said Grinde.
When selecting inventory, Grinde draws inspiration from her closet, choosing brands she personally loves and feels confident wearing, New items, especially versatile tops in neutrals and seasonal colors, are added weekly. This ensures shoppers can enjoy fresh pieces year-round.
Within the community. Emerald Grace stands out for its dedication to inclusivity, creating a welcoming space where customers can feel at ease browsing alone or with friends.
“Nobody should feel awkward when they shop,” said Grinde. “We just want everyone to feel welcomed and appreciated here.”
Emerald Grace is located at 408 4th Street. Their hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Hours may vary depending on the season.
